Kate Milford's Housebroken: Admissions of an Untidy Life is a funny, heartwarming, and thought-provoking memoir about the ups and downs of living with a disability. Milford, who has cerebral palsy, writes with candor and humor about the challenges she faces on a daily basis, from the physical limitations of her body to the social stigma that often accompanies disability.

Milford's memoir is not just a story of overcoming adversity. It is also a celebration of the messy, unpredictable, and often hilarious reality of life with a disability. Milford writes about the joys of finding beauty in the unexpected, the importance of community, and the power of laughter. She also challenges the stereotypes that often surround disability, showing that people with disabilities are not defined by their limitations.

Housebroken is a must-read for anyone who has ever felt different or marginalized. Milford's story is a reminder that we are all more alike than we are different, and that we all have something to offer the world.
